I've created a "block manager" program that displays the thumbnail preview of the selected wblock. The preview is displayed by an ocx file I got online called acthumb.ocx. here is my problem. On a workstation with only 2000i installed the preview doesnt refresh or even display untill the user minimizes the autocad and then brings it up again. Also when in the vba design interface the preview boxes on the form act as it it is having video issues....dragging anything over them creates a whiteout effect.

The program worksgreat in 2000i if the workstation has had LDD3 installed.

What is LDD upgrading or installing to make VBA or Autocad refresh the preview? My thought is a DLL? I've compared the VBA versions in both situations and it remains the same.

    Any thoughts?

FYI I'm fairly new to VBA

    Thanks
