    I have 2 resistors in a schematic connected with 2 nets (a and b). I
    run layoutXL and connectivity->update->components and nets and it
    brings in the resistors. I connect the resistors up and see that the
    nets have connectivity a and b. In the schematic, I change net b to
    net c and again run connectivity->update->components and nets in the
    layout. I was expecting the connectivity for trace b to change to net
    c, but it stayed as net b. Why doesn't
    connectivity->update->components and nets update the connectivity?

    Hi Erik,

    A typical VXL problem. Your best bet is to delete the resitor in question
    and re-create it with vxl. This goes along with the confusion stuff I
    mentioned in theother thread. VXL is great, but it takes a while to learn
    its tricks. It can definetly lie to you!

    Ethan:
    VXL tricks sounds like VXL bugs. Why isn't it called
    connectivity->update->components instead of
    connectivity->update->components AND nets? In what way are the nets
    updated?

  4. Sounds like a bug to me.
