Layer dialog crashes

    I have a Win 98 machine with Acad 2002 installed that crashes on some
    drawings when you right click in the layer dialog. Acad simply shuts down
    usually with no warning, it simply goes away. No changes have been made to
    the machine recently. Any suggestions as to what causes this or how to fix
    it are appreciated.

    AutoCAD 2002 and Win 98 are a bad combination. Frequent carshes are the
    result. This is widely known. The solution is a better operating system (Win
    2000 works the best, though XP is exceptable).
