If you don't have the container file open (or maybe just the app running - not sure) it is possible to delete the container file with ALL your data in it. BestCrypt doesn't have this problem as a TSR app denies access to the the file. Of course if you have a JBC file (Jetico Best Crypt) on a disk without having BestCrypt installed, you can also delete the container file. Just something to be wary of.
May the full Dekart app has something similar. BTW you can only open one Virtual Drive a t a time with the light version.
BestCrypt is more flexible in this regard, as you can assign the Drive Letter every time you open the Container File. I did however find an issue with an older version of BestCrypt I was using on Windows 2000, not letting the system go into standby mode. I only discovered this by trial and error as Windows was reporting it as the keyboard driver not allowing the system to go into standby!!.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Dean. I'm trying out Private Disk 2.0 now and it seems
to work well. Hadn't had any problems with it yet. Sounds like the user
needs to beware of were the image file is located so it doesn't get deleted
by mistake. I guess that's why there is a backup feature in v2.0

    Thanks for posting,
