Hello, after many years since using CAD software, I am now trying to get back into it. I am using AutoSketch 10. Am I in the right place? The reason I am asking is because I tried to join on the Autodesk site but there did not seem to be any support for AutoSketch. Hope I am in the right place here.

May I start with a very simple question? Is there somewhere to set the overall program default settings? My preferred page and screen setup is in Landscape mode, but AutoSketch always boots up in Portrait, and I have to reset it every time. Just asking if there is a setting somewhere.

    Thanks...... Rickker

Wow! Is anyone out there? I had hoped this would be an active forum where members post questions and answers. Where experienced users can help beginners or intermediates. But it appears that there is no activity. Disappointing.

    Hi Rickker,
I think if you use a template to start with that will have all of the settings you prefer. You can easily create your own template in Autosketch, just search for Template in the help and you should find how to create a template.
When you start Autosketch after you have created you own template you just select it and it will have all of your settings that you saved with the template.

    Good luck,
    John

A simple way it to save Title drawings with the page size, scale, frame. layers, title block etc defaults you want, load them an save a renamed version. I use the grid to establish the page outline then copy 10mm in for the frame.
