  2. Manu,

I am not sure what you mean by last part of .cshrc file. I was able to
install the NCSU CDK on my RedHat Linux Enterprise 3.0 machine
successfully a couple of months ago. If you can give more information on
your problem, may be I can help out.

    Thanks,
    Prashanth

    hello prashant
actually i wasn't able to install NCSU CDK successfully in linux and
found in the last part of .cshrc file(to be written for NCSU CDK
usage) the if condition is b/w solaris version and linux is not there.
let me tell u the steps i followed:-
    my cadence directory is /home/cadence
my 'local' folder of ncsu directory is /home/manu/ncsu/local

i compiled bar.c file in /bin directory of local folder of ncsu by gcc
    i executed install.pl script
    gave ic directory as /home/cadence/ic50
then i changed .cshrc file and renamed it as .cshrc_ncsu
then i sourced this .cshrc file and executed virtuso layout.
the problem is that i am still not getting the libraries.
if i have gone wrong somewhere...
can you tell me the steps of installing NCSU CDK in linux.

thanks you for ur help and patience
    regards
    manu

  4. Ahhh I see. I did not run into any issues because I did not compile he
"bar", "imager" and "xlator" programs. I just followed the installation
instructions having to deal with defining env. variables, copying
    ..cdsinit and .cdsenv files.

    Regards,
    Prashanth
