In Autosketch 9 is it possible to change the default file type of *.SKF to *.CAD? I have many QUICKCAD drawings with the extension *.CAD and would like to have this extension as my default when opening and saving files. The default extension now is *.SKF.

Not sure there is a check block to do this.

As I recall I did this on a previous version by finding something in the
registry that specified the extension and changed it to .CAD from .SKF.

No, you can't change the default. But you can just rename your *.CAD files
to *.SKF -- they are the same file format.

For the Windows-centric, just start the Command Prompt, enter:
CD /D "D:\My drawings" (or wherever your stuff is)
    ren *.CAD *.SKF
    Voila, you're set!
