I have an old program that outputs to .PLT files (HP plotter files) - a fairly standard/basic vector format. Any idea how I can get them into AS9?

If you can find somebody with drafix 4, this may open the plt file and then
save it as a CAD file and V 9 should then open it.

I have other programs that will import and export to DXF/DWG; I just wanted to find a way to do it within AS9

(IMHO this is something that it badly lacks; import and export filters. And what's with this "insert object"? - all it does is put a file into the drawing that you have to open with a seperate package. I can't see how it would ever be usefull - just send the file with the drawing file.)

    Gadget,
    I have Drafix 4.11
If I can find the CD or disks, how can I get them to you?

:D thanks for the offer, but as I said - I have programs that will import and export to a readable format for AS; it's just that doing two or three a day is a complete waste of resources.

    Thanks again.
