Importing Excel into a table

I'm using 2001.
Is there a way to do import an Excel file into a table on a drawing?
I'd like to avoid a lot of duplicate typing.

It seems like there should be a way to do this.

I looked thru the newsgroup via google
and this subject has been brought up before, I just couldn't find the
answer I was looking for.
