I am trying to open plan sheets (in .dwg format) in AS 8.0 (created in AutoCAD 2000) but only a portion of the files are being imported. I can see the entire drawing in the preview window, but the import operation only brings in part of the sheet. There are 3D objects which I flatten in import options. Any guidance on what I can try?

    Hello

Are the people who gave you the file using XREF drawings within the file they sent you?

    OR

Get the file saved as V14 and see if there is any difference.

If it turns out they are using XREFS, have them bind the drtawing before
theay send it to you. That will add the XREF to the base fiel and you
    will see everything in AS.
