    Hello,

In IC5141 (VLE), how can I get the shapes highlited by "mark net" ?
The aim is to copy all the net to a new cell (without VXL).

I've seen several topic around that in sourcelink, but not really the
    answer to this question .

    SR 11575166 is for VXL
    SR 11183462 is for IC613 ...
SR 11198444 is not hierarchical ...

    Can you help me ?
    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards,

    Sylvain

    Sylvain,

    Solution 11198444 says:
Assumption: This code works in top level only. You need to modify this
    code for hierarchical design.

Knowing your Skill skills, I'd rather propose you make the missing bit
yourself and share it with us ... :)
I'm too busy these days and I'm not willing to help Skilled but lazy
    guys anyway ;-)

    Cheers,
    Riad.

Hi, and thanks for this confidence you have in me!

The aim of this thread was to know if anyone had already done that and
was OK to share it... As you know we can spend a lot of time
    reinventing the wheel ...

Of course if nobody ever did that , I'll do it and share it with the
    comunity :)
Or maybe it will deserve a patent :)

Hope everything is OK on your side, and I'm happy to hear that you're
    busy it's good sign!

    Regards,

    Sylvain

Getting the shapes from Mark Net is a new feature that is due to come in in
IC614, I believe. I think it's going to be possible to store the shapes into
another cellView when the mark net is done (I've not tried this).

Right now there's no mechanism to do this, other than writing a shape tracer
    yourself...

    Regards,

    Andrew.

The Cadence add-on software SkillCad has highlight net, extract net &
select net commands. It is licenses through a separate company than
    Cadence.
