I have a 3d face in AutoCAD and I need to determine witch way this face is
    pitched off the (x,y) axis.
does any idea as to haw to accomplish this. (I have been banging my head
    for 5 hours).

    thankyou

You must be developing quite a lump there! ;-)

Unfortunately it's not clear to me what you mean by "witch way this face is pitched", but it sounds like something you'd use the Coordinates property for. I suggest you check out these two sites as they are excellent references for geometrical stuff.

I think I can describe this a little better

I have a plane (3d face) somewhere in space. using its coordinates I want
to find the angle off of the x,y axis (what is its orientation "normal").
the plane will always have positive so coordinate's.

and yes the lump is VERY big

links help some but still hitting a wall

    thanks
