HPGL2 images mirrored

I'm trying to create HPGL2 plotfiles from AutoCad 2004 for use with our
custom made drawing management system. The management system (Visual DBase
app) works by copying the plot files to an HPGL printer so anyone can print
drawings without having cad. The system should also let them view the
drawings by invoking RXView to view the plot file.

The problem I'm having is that when I create an HPGL2 plotfile RXView
displays a mirror image of the drawing. The drawings plot ok without the
    mirroring.

If I create HPGL (ANSI) plot files both plotting and viewing work great but
the file size is about 10 times larger hence my preference for HPGL2.

Our previous CAD software ECS Concerto (Also called drawbase in the US?)
created HPGL2 files that viewed and plotted fine.

I've tried 5 or 6 of the drivers in the standard install of Autocad 2004 but
they all seem to behave the same way.

Can anyone explain this or even help?

    Cheers

    Mike
