We have a HP2600 Inkjet printer for 11X17 printing. It's having issues.
When we plot 11X17 to it, it take the paper then just stop without printing
and say processing on the panel. We have to unplug and plug it in again for
it to reset and spit the paper out (power button does not work in this stuck
state). Just today I was printing 6-11X17s and it stopped 3 times. Also it
prints what look like roller smudges on the sheet, but they are not. It is
    actually the printhead printing something.

We had an HP repair tech take a look at it. He ended up taking to his shop
and taking apart and cleaning. It didn't help at all. they funny thing is
these problems only manifest themselves when printing 11X17 AutoCad files.
11x17 spreadsheet, word, or photos cause non of these issues. All seems
fine. The Hp tech is baffled he did hard reset, updated firmware etc.
Nothing helped. Anybody else having issues like this. Oh yeah 8.5x11
    autocad prints work ok.

Printing over network. Win2000 server. Pcs are running Win nt sp6, WinXp
    Sp1, Win 2000. AutoCad 2002 & 2004

    Thanks,
    Todd

I'll try that (printing to system printer instead of pc3)
    Thanks
