  2. Draftmaster: no. penplotter technology is obsolete
DesignJet 2500: perhaps; is this the DesignJet 2500CP? We used to use the
non-PostScript version DesignJet 2000CP for color plotting. It's pretty
    slow, but good quality.

  4. The Xerox 2510 is a large size engineering copier (for analogue originals,
so you can not use it for plotting)
CalComp 52436: pretty old product and using direct thermal technology that
    is obsolete
HP Designjet 650C: pretty old inkjet; still popular, but may give problems
    with replacement parts
Roland GSX4000: not sure; I believe it's a penplotter; if it is then it is
    obsolete technology

Of the products that you mentioned so far, I would prefer the Designjet
2500cp; I believe it is still serviced and it offers some attractive
features, among them large capacity ink containers ($$$! but relatively low
cost per print) and good quality (this plotter was more targeted at the
    graphics market, for posters a.s.o.)

  5. Hi Govert and Leon,

Yes the 2500 is still supported and best of all you can get parts for it.
The 650c is no longer supported and parts are not as easy to come by.

Just thought I would pass that part on.

    Take care.
