When I try to move a large VCF file to another phone or system, it doesn’t import properly. Some contacts are skipped or duplicated. I need a simple way to fix this transfer issue.

Large vCard files often create problems during transfer because different devices handle contacts differently. When you bulk-import a big VCF file at once, there’s a higher chance of skipped contacts, duplicates, or partial imports because of the sheer volume of data or problems syncing your phone’s contact app with your phone’s system contact app.

The easy way out of this is to split your large VCF file into smaller parts before transferring it. Once split up, move those files over to your new device and import them in batches. This keeps the process smooth and helps preserve all contact details without errors.

Most of these issues happen when users try to transfer a huge VCF file directly, import everything at once, or skip taking a backup before starting the process. In such cases, a tool like GainTools Address Book Manager is often used to divide the file into smaller contact files before transfer.
