How to show different views on same plot

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Andy Anderson, Jun 24, 2003.

  1. I have created a 3D drawing of a Roll-on ( anti-perspirant type!) and
need to plot a view of the Roll-on with the cap on and also a view of
the Roll-on with the cap displaced. I cannot show the separate views in
the same drawing. When I move the cap in one view it is also moved in
the other view. Can some-one please give me some advice?

Put the cap on a new layer, copy the cap to its dispaced position, put
this copy on yet another layer, then freeze the layer of one cap in the
first viewport and freeze the layer of the second cap in the second viewport
