How to Remove a Plotter Configuration

I've looked throught his newsgroup, but can't find the answer in previous
    threads, so here goes.

We have some drawings created by an outworker: he plots on an Epson and
sends the drawings in. We have HP650C & 755CM plotters and whenever we go to
plot we get and error message saying the Epson isn't available. I can create
and recall page setups in the page setup drop-down box, but it seems that
the Epson is always remebered as the default, even after saving the drawing.

It's as if I need to 'purge' the Epson (which I can't see anyhwere in the
page setup box) out of the drawing.

Is this possible, or am I doing something wrong?

  2. Hi Julian,

When you save this drawing have you changed and applied the PC3 and or Page
setup for the drawing file? That should do the trick for you.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I asked this before, but I didn't get any answer : how can I "read" this
default printer when plotting ?? Is this in the dxf file ?
It is very annoying when this default printer exists only where drawing was
    created, not where is plot.

    Thanks

What printer do your systems show for the default printer in the Options Dialog box
    under the Print tab?

Set your most popular plotter as the default.

Here is a way to beat it without having to get too big a headache.

Create a new pc3 file that has a plotter with the same name as the one your outworker
is using in his computer. The difference will be that although yours says "Epson
....", it can be one of your two plotters that is configured under that name.
