how to record a macro while drawing

Hello everybody.

as you know microsoft excel can record a macro while we operate in
worksheets.

i like to know if there is a similar function in autocad.

could anybody tell me how to record a macro while drawing.

Joe Sutphin posted a macro recorder for AutoCAD in the customer files newsgroup
some time back.

 

autodesk.autocad.customer-files - place to post and retrieve zip files /
attachments(eg dwg files, sample code etc)
autodesk.autocad.customization - question/answer lisp coding
autodesk.autocad.customization.vba - question/answer vb/vba coding
etc
you should be able to see all autodesk groups available in your newsreader
subscribe to those you wish to follow, like you did with this one

subscribe to the customer-files group, download all headers, search for
"macro" and "Sutphin" or something similar, don't know when it was posted,
but if you get all headers, you should find it.
