How to hide viewport background on layout?

    I have a layout with multiple viewports, some of which overlap among
    themselves. Is it possible to configure a viewport so that it hides
    all viewports which are under them?

    Maybe there's a simpler way but here's how I'd do it.

    1. Save each VIEW.
    2. Trace over each of the Viewports in turn with a Polygonal View and
    delete the originals.
    3.Assign the saved views back to the newly created polygonal
    viewports.
    4. Voila
