How to get white letters on black background in Smartsketch

    I need to have white letters on black background in Smartsketch. Therfore I have made a rectangular square which i filled with solid black. Into that square i placed text with white letters. The text is not wisible although I pushed the black background backwards an pulled the white text to the front. Does someone know what to do to make text or lines visible on a dark background?
    I apreciate your help
