How to get rid of STB plot setup

I received a drawing from another cad group the other day. It was a 2005
version, and I have MAP 5 (2002?) Anyway, I had to have a friend convert the
file for me. When I got it, the plot set-up was using an .stb file. I have
only ever used ctb files. I converted a ctb file to stb, however, things
don't seem to plot out right.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of whatever tells the drawing to look for
stb files, and get it back to using a ctb file?

    TIA

I'm not sure about MAP 5 but in Acad 2002 (and up):

To convert a drawing to use color-dependent plot style tables, use the
    CONVERTPSTYLES command.
Follow these steps to convert the drawing:
1.. Open the drawing you want to convert.
2.. Type convertpstyles on the command line.
The named plot styles are removed from the objects and named plot style
    tables detached from the drawing.
