    Hi

I've been looking for a spectre expression to automatically calculate
1/f noise corner at where thermal noise and 1/f noise meet after
    running pss and pnoise.
Are there anyone have done this?
    Thanks

    Hi,

I use this calculator expression in the outputs:

    xmin((phaseNoise(1 "pss-fd.pss" ?result "pnoise-pnoise") + (25 *
    log10(xval(phaseNoise(1 "pss-fd.pss" ?result "pnoise-pnoise"))))))

If you are interested, I can write up the derivation for it .
Basically it finds the point of equal contribution to phase noise from
1/f and thermal noise, which is the corner frequency as I understand
    it.

    Hi Belal.

Yes, I'd like to know how did you derive this. Could you also post your derivation? Thank you very much!

    Best,
    Richard

    Hi Belal,

I'd like to know the derivation to find the 1/f and thermal noise.

    Thanks!
