How to calculate phase noise?

    Hello,
    I actually have 2 questions:

    Can i get a pure sinusoidal wave if i use ONLY inverters in a ring
    oscillator? I managed to get output pretty close to a since wave
    however, it still needs some improvements....any suggestions?

    Secondly, I would really appreciate if anyone can guide me step by step
    in order to calculate phase noise for a 2.4 GHz LC tank VCO.
