How can I split a large vCard (VCF) file into multiple smaller files for easy management?

I have one very large vCard file containing hundreds or even thousands of contacts. It’s getting difficult to handle and import into my phone or email apps. I need a way to split this bulky VCF file into smaller parts so it becomes easier to manage and use without breaking any contact details.

When a vCard file becomes too large, it gets hard to import or manage because most phones and apps slow down or fail to process everything at once. That’s why splitting it into smaller files makes things easier to handle.

The VCF file can be opened on your computer through a simple contacts editor or text editor software, and you can manually divide the contacts into smaller segments. However, this process would become too tedious if there were hundreds of contacts on the file.

Alternatively, the splitting option in the tool could be used to automatically create smaller VCF files from one file. For example, WholeClear Split vCard Software is used for dividing large contact files into separate VCFs without changing the contact details.

    Common issues people face:
    • Large file not importing properly into phone or Gmail
    • App freezing during import
    • Contacts getting skipped or duplicated
Splitting makes the file lighter and easier to use everywhere.
