How can I convert Outlook MSG files into EML when Thunderbird does not recognize the original MSG fo

I have a folder of MSG emails copied from an outdated Outlook system, but Thunderbird is not opening them directly. I need to change them into proper EML files so the emails open with readable body text, sender details, dates, and attachments.

 

Thunderbird does not read Outlook MSG files directly because MSG is an Outlook-based file format. If the files came from an old Outlook setup, they need to be changed into EML before Thunderbird can open them properly.
