I have a single VCF file containing multiple contacts from different sources, and it has become hard to organize. I want to split this file into smaller parts so I can manage, share, and import contacts easily without affecting the original contact data.

Breaking one big vCard file into multiple smaller VCF files can make contact management much easier, especially when the file contains contacts collected from different sources. I faced a similar issue with a large VCF backup where importing or finding specific contacts was becoming difficult.

However, if done manually, it means opening the file and copying contacts individually to form new VCF files, but this process becomes time-consuming once there are many contacts involved. A more efficient process would be using a vCard splitter to split the contacts without altering any information such as names, phone numbers and emails.

I used Softaken Split vCard Pro for handling a large contact file and it helped divide the VCF into individual files without changing the original data. Keeping a backup of the original file before splitting is always a good idea.
