    Howdy and thanks:

What I'm hopeing some one can help me with this.

I have a series of blocks (which I'll call parent blocks) and within those
blocks can be 2 or more other blocks (that highlight location points which
would be child blocks). What I need help with is accessing the insert
location (coord's x and y) of the child (blocks) within the parent blocks. I
can get to the parent(blocks) accessing it's insert location info I just
haven't had any success finding out how to get to the blocks within them.

    Thanks for any help.

you could explode the parent inserts to get the subobjects, read their
    insertions and then delete them
or you could compute the relative location of the subblocks to the parent
blocks insertion point in the block definition and use that to calc the locs
in the insertions of the parent blocks
then theres the ucs wcs ocs issues with translations (that i'm not too up
    on), to be considered
