Can anyone tell me how to get the angles necessary to create an ellipse. I
have drawn an ellipse but AutoCAD cannot dimension this object. Is there any
way to figure this out if I have already created the ellipse in my drawing
and I just want to dimension it? Any information would be greatly
    appreciated.

    Thanks,

What does the ellipse represent? If it's a circle viewed from an angle, then
just the major axis (and possibly the viewing angle) will do. If it's an
architectural feature, then you'll need to show enough to construct it from
    arcs or some such.

Dimensioning a true ellipse is tricky, because its radius is constantly
changing as you traverse the perimeter.

You might consider setting PELLIPSE=1, so that AutoCAD will approximate the
ellipse with a multiple-arc polyline; then you can EXPLODE the polyline and
work with the individual ARC objects.
