    Hello There:

I have a HP 750C Plotter connected to a computer with Windows XP.
When I send a drawing to print, it prints the first 20% or so
fine and then I get the message "INK DRYING 1M", and it
    stops printing.

Could anyone give me an idea what to do to correct this?

    Thank you,

    Lo

Have you looked in the owner's manual to see if this is a setting available
    at the plotter?

This message means that the plotter thinks the plot has ended. Before cutting off, he just waits a minute for the ink to dry.
So if your plot is not complete, the problem lies elsewhere: in plotter comunication or plotter dirver software.
In windows XP, printer settings, check the properties, printing preferences and on the tab "advanced" change Process document from "in printer" to "in computer. This is slower, but now you avoid the buffer overflow of the RAM in your plotter.

    Another possible work around is:
    1) plot to file in AutoCAD. Place the PLT file in c:\plotfiles or so.
    2) download Goplot from http://www.output.tmfweb.nl/GoPlot.html
    3) use it to send it to the plotter.

Have you installed the Windows XP updated driver for this plotter?

Is this an unusually large plot file? and how much memory does the plotter have?

Does the plotters test plot work properly?
