    Greetings,
I hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong when I try to adjust
    the scaling.
Here's what I've tried to do:

    1. Open new file
    2.Select template gs24x36 24"x36"
The grid shows up when I use the default settings. However when I
go into the drawing options and try to adjust the scale using
1" Page = 48" Real World my page shrinks down to the lower left hand
corner. I have to zoom in to be able to see the grid as changing the
scale leaves me with just a white background.

What I am trying to do is use Autosketch for a landscape drawing. I
would like 1/4" to equal 12" on my 24"x36" page so that when I use the
measure tool i get the actual dimensions of feet and inches.

I've tried using the Auto Page and Auto Scale wizards but I end up
with the same thing. No grids showing.

    Thanks for the help.
