Handling hatches / convert them to polygons

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Thomas Friedel, Jan 12, 2005.

  1. Hi newsgroup,

is it possible in VectorWorks to explode or convert hatches so I have got
    Polylines or polygons as result?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Tom

i don't know anything about vectorworks, but if you have access to
autocad you can use hatchb.lsp. it'll find and draw the bounding
polylines around hatches. i don't remember where i got it, but a
couple of references came up when i did a search on google just now. i
believe it's available for free on a couple of sites.
