Gremlins in plotter!

After sending a plot to our HP750c plotter, the plot is almost finished but then just stops. The only way to get it working again is by booting it and re-sending all the plots all over again. I have searched the discussion group and can not find this problem out there.
We have replaced the NIC/server, and also the que. We are now waiting on the HP Tech to come out and try again.
I wondered if a plotter, with an IP address, could possibly get a virus?
    Thanks!

    Hi Dean,
I did as you have suggested but the plotter still stops.
I have emailed the question to our vendor. I am now wondering if the 750c has a defective board.
    Thanks,
    Craig
