    Hello,
Can somebody gives me an advice on what graphic card
I should use to run the Cadence flows (IC5.0 / PSD151)
    on a Linux RedHat 9 ?
    I have actualy a G450 with 32Meg of RAM
but it is to slow in the 24bits color mode
    necessary for IC5.0
    Thanks,
    Christian Illinger

I would think any of the modern NVidia GeForce cards would work well. The
GeForce FX series is excellent for 2D graphics, and the GeForce 4 Ti's
should also work well and support 3D (though you probably don't need it).
ATI Radeon 9000 series are also good. Pretty much any modern video card
would be much better than a G450. You would need to install the drivers from
NVidia or ATI for hardware support, and you should easily be able to find
the correct linux drivers. This advice is not specific to Cadence - you just
need to find a good 2D card and the graphics will be faster.

    hi,
Even my Graphics Card with only 8 MB video memory work much
    faster than Sun Blade.
BTW, I bought my video card 5 years ago.

    sincerely
