Ok, I'm trying to make a block with various attributes that indicate
revisions dates. When creating the block, I pick the attributes in order
that I want them to appear when inserting the block. However, that is not
    working.

I'm using AutoCAD 2005. I know I could rearrange them with "Battman" once
inserted, but this block has a ton of information that needs to be sorted,
and needs to be done in several sheets + plus the question still remains on
why it's not putting them in my specified order.

Is there a variable that controls this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

AS I don't have 2005 yet, I can't be sure, but you should be able to do
what is available with 2004 - you should be able to arrange the
attributes in any order. This was a feature that was not available
before 2004 (I think) but for the life of me I can't remember what the
    command is.

    Go to MODIFY>OBJECT>ATTRIBUTE>BLOCK ATTRIBUTE MANAGER.
From there you change change all sort of things, such as layers,
colors, text, height, and order of appearance. Be sure to SYNC when you
    are through.
