Getting rid of raster image border

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Corey Scheich, Oct 4, 2004.

  1. Our customer wants their logo on the drawings we are supplying, that isn't
a problem except the background of the image is white and should blend into
the drawing. When inserted as a raster image AutoCad adds a black border
line around the image. Is there a way to make these lines white or remove
them. Temporarily I changed the line font to dot and a scale of 40 but that
leaves a dot in each corner. May not show on a drawing but if he wants to
be picky then I don't know what to do. Any suggestions.

  4. Well I failed to mention that it is in AutoCAD 2000 i am not sure that was
an option. If so it should be in the properties window right. I can't find
    it anyway.

While the IMAGEFRAME variable is the main way to turn image frames on
or off, I found that I was toggling that variable a lot because you
need the frame on to be able to move or stretch the frame.

I eventually came up with a similar solution to you... I set the
lintype to Dot and adjusted the linetypescale till the number of dots
was acceptable. The other thing I did was to set the color to 255 ...
which is a very light grey.

I should also add that you can also change the display order for the
picture so that the picture is underneath other items.
