FLEXlm version 9.2.2 on a server/workstation running Windows NT® 4.0?

  1. My question is: Can we install FLEXlm version 9.2.2 on a server/workstation
running Windows NT® 4.0 Service Pack 6a or later or must it be on a
server/workstation running Windows XP Professional? The two documents listed
    below are inconsistent.

In the whitepaper "Installing the Autodesk Network License Manager for
AutoCAD 2005 or AutoCAD 2005-Based Products", document
    4370792_ACAD2005_Installing_the_Network_License_Manager.pdf, you read in the
    middle of page 2

"For the NLM to distribute licenses, it must be installed, configured,
authorized, and started on a Microsoft®
    Windows NT® 4.0 workstation or server, Windows® 2000 Professional
    workstation or server, Windows XP
Professional, or Windows® 2003 Server. The NLM cannot be installed on a
    Novell® or UNIX® server."

In the "Network Administrator's Guide 2005" for Autodesk MapT 3D, document
4244160_acad_nag.pdf, you read in chapter 2 System Requirements page 14

Hardware and software requirements for the network license server
    Hardware/Software Requirement
    Notes
    Operatingsystem Windows® XP
Professional The Network License Manager supports
Windows XP Home with Service Pack 1
    Ethernet network configurations only.
    (or later)
Windows 2000 with SP 3 (or later)

Have anybody experience from Flexlm 9.2.2 and Windows NT 4.0?
