What does "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x1deba00
Exception at 3601e78ch" mean? It consistently occurs when I click on a paper
space tab. I'm using AutoCAD 2002 on Windows 2000.

  2. It means you've hit a bug in the version of AutoCAD you're using. (That
message is from the OS; the details, if they're meaningful at all, will
only be meaningful to the developers.)

Perhaps you meant to post this to comp.cad.autocad? comp.cad.cadence
isn't a group for Cadence, the AutoCAD magazine; it's for Cadence
    electronic design software.

OOPS :) you are correct, I thought it was the cadence magazine. However, I'm
glad I made the mistake though, since you are the only one to answer so far.

  4. Happy to help. And, yes, the first time I saw Cadence magazine at Barnes
and Noble, I flipped though looking for tips on Virtuoso; eventually, I
re-read the cover, somewhat deflated... :)
