FATAL ERROR when using DDEDIT, but only sometimes

About 4 - 5 times a day, when using DDedit autocad locks up, gives me a fatal error, unhandled access violation reading 0x0004 exception 6544B564H.

Has this happened to anyone?

This happens only on one station, and on drawings used by others without problems. Also, even after recover, it still happens again on same drawing.

Seams weird to me, is there a patch.

BTW Autocad 2000i.

Very unusual and have never had it happened. Have you cleaned up the drawings that it has been occuring on? It could be that you have something in the drawings that is causing this. also try purging.
