One of my users received the following error message when opening any drawing, drawings that were no problem yesterday: "FATAL ERROR - OUT OF MEMORY - SHUTTING DOWN" (I confess this may not be the exact text of the message). And yes, ACAD then shuts down. Other programs open properly without memory problems, such as Photoshop 7 opening a 1Mb .jpg file. So, I concluded it was not a system error, but an ACAD error. Sure enough, I fixed it by using the repair option on the ACAD install CD. But, I had to again go in and configure all the user settings (BTW, I thought this was saved in acad2000.cfg, but apparently not. Is there a way to save these settings, perhaps in the user profile? and how do I save the user profile?) Has anyone seen this error message before, and what was your experience with it? Thanks
