Faint Grid dots

    I have trouble seeing the grid dots when I use a white background and was
    wondering if it's possible to make them larger.

    I don't think it is.

    On a dedicated layer, you could instead array either a block or
    'point' of your choice across the required area, or use a hatch
    pattern.
