Extrusion direction relative to UCS:

I am having trouble plotting arcs. I do a "list" and this is what i get.

Command: list

                  ARC Layer: PROFILE                             Space: Model space                    Color: 72 Linetype: CONTINUOUS                    Handle = 55             center point, X= -0.0173 Y= 0.0260 Z= 0.0000             radius 0.1600 Extrusion direction relative to UCS:
                   X= 0.0000 Y= 0.0000 Z= -1.0000             length 0.2485              total angle 89 The problem is the z=-1.0000. I have tried all the basics to try to resolve this problem. The question i am asking; is there any way of getting rid of this extrusion direction in AutoCAD R14-2000? Or is there any way to erease the properties in a file?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

that happens when regions are exploded sometimes, depending on the clock direction the region was defined.

some machining programs wont recognize the arcs correctly.

 

try to make a block of all of the offending arcs then change the z scale factor to -1 and then explode the block.

you can use QSELECT to filter out all arcs with Normal Z = -1
