Error: degenerate hatch vertex data on line 8396.

    I am running ver 6 on XP and trying to open DXF files I have been working on
    for weeks but I get the following error message. ***Error: degenerate hatch
    vertex data on line 8396.*** The file does NOT open! Anyone have any clues?

    Post one of the files in the customer area and I can check it on my system.
