I'd like a more complete reference describing the group codes for the SPLINE entity. Specifically, I see from the 'reference' that code 74 and (11,21,31) specify "fit points" but I don't know exactly what this is. I recognize control points, knots, and weights as part of the usual definition of a NURBS but am not familiar with how these 'fit points' are handled. If the curve is actually 'fit' to these points, what then becomes of the NURBS that is already completely defined by the control points and the knots (i.e., w/o the 'fit points')? Thanks.
