    Another DWG hangup
V8 worked OK for half a day now it will only open one DWG drawing and crash when a second is opened.
Shut V8 down and restart and it will open the one it just crashed on then crash again opening a subsequent DWG file.
    Reloaded V8 but no difference.
Crashes with ACDB15.DLL fault or sometimes the infamous Kernell
    Any Ideas ??

  3. What software was used to create the DWGs?

Can you send me one or two of the files? (volker dot joseph at autodesk dot
    com)

    Thanks

  4. Thanks for the files.

I can confirm that AutoSketch8 did not open the drawings, however I managed
to open them all fine once i purged the content of all three files. It
appears that there are a lot of either corrupt, empty or damaged blocks in
all of the drawing (number of blocks before purge = 20+; number of blocks
    after purge = 4).
I do not want to play the old "vinyl" over and over but it seems as if the
3rd party software put some' into the dwgs, which it shouldn't have.

I will return the cleaned up dwgs to you shortly.

You should note however, that all drawings opened just fine using
    AutoSketch9.

Since Version 9 is out now, I would not hold your breath for a patch.
