I'm hoping I can either get some good references or other information on
    doing this.

I'm looking at generating a file index list of DWF files on an intranet
page, and when someone clicks on one of the file names, i want to open the
    DWF file.

But right now, it always asks to Open/Save/Cancel, and it opens the program
    separately.

I'd like to automatically open the files and have them open in a HTML Frame
window that is in the intranet site page, in a somewhat similar fashion that
a DWF file on Buzzsaw opens to the window pane on the right.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I think you need a Viewer.

I have the viewer, that's not the problem.

I want the viewer to open into the HTML frame, not into the program
    separately.

If you are just trying to view the file why don't you make the drawing a .pdf. I think it would be easier to use on the web.

That's pretty much what I have, maybe I need to define the target at the
link, rather than the body. But that is the way I would like it to work.

Yes, I'd thought of that, but I've had better luck creating a script file to
batch create DWF files, rather than with PDF. I'd ratther batch my 1100
detail library into DWF, than to manually create 1100 PDF files. :)

..pdf. I think it would be easier to use on the web.

  7. The set up I have at works gets the list of files from the sql database and
    constructs the links.
    I use asp
I prefer that the link oopens a new window so that the user can open
multiple drawings from a constant link page.
We have potentially 30 link pages for each of over 200 projects.

DWF will be faster and more efficient for web use. Not to mention,
Adobe's v6 of Acrobat is a slow pig when loading into memory.
