How do I draw a line to an arc so that the
transition is uniform? In Autocad I've used
    tan/tan command.

    TIA,

  2. You can use a smart line and change from lines to arcs via the tool settings
dialog or the accudraw bump tool settings shortcut ~ (which doesn't require
shift). Accudraw then makes it very easy for your arc to be tangential.

I'm using 8.1. The tangent command is one of the few
commands that still require the "tentitive snap". Most
of the others don't, they work like the Autocad
snaps. I wasn't aware of this.

    thanks
