From what's been said here (meld_b thread of 4/16), it should be available now.
One of the nice things about maintenance is that PTC is supposed to talk to you,
answer questions like this and walk you step by step through the download
procedure if you need it. I'd give them a call.

  3. And doesn't it take nearly an hour to download?

It HAS been available since Monday. However, you need to first get
the ball rolling on the Update page by requesting the license file.
Only after you do this does WF2 appear in the list of downloadable
    software.

But wouldn't it be funny if you got through all the license rigmarole, spent all
the time downloading tghe files, then making CD images and burning these to two
CDs, and then have the FedEx people show up at your door with the CDs from PTC.
They are supposed to send you them about ten days after a new version is
commercially release, aren't they? Isn't that in your maintenance contract? It has
occured to me, of late, that there is such a thing as being 'too efficient'.

Ah yes...It would be funny. This might be a way to get the CD's to show
up quicker :) Unfortunately (or fortunately) I find myself needing to
load Pro/E again for other reasons right about now.

So, it's two CD's now not three? And do you really have to burn CD's if
you only plan on installing on one machine? Are you saying the "first
kid on the block" syndrome is a waste of time??? Ah - probably.

I can't fault impatience, when it comes to the new stuff. But, after the timeout
issue, who hasn't had to patch and reinstall. And you don't have the original CDs?
Oops, well you could always wait till the next build release, shouldn't be more
than a week, or so. You (the impatient one) don't mind waiting, do you!?! Three
CDs? You must have the Gold maintenance plan where you get all the product manuals
on one disk in PDF format. No? Well, what the hell is on that third CD!?!

I swear Wildfire 1 came on 3 CD's... Mechanica was included.. The
install randomly wandered between disks. At least it did start with
number 1. I think this might involve help, I thought that's what
everyone got. I think we're on Silver maintenance.

Let's see we've got Granite, Silver, Gold, Wildfire... Wouldn't it be
fun to be in marketing, and make up this stuff?

I don't understand the problem......... Wildfire 2 ALSO comes on 3 CDs
    - or at least that's what I see on the download page for the Windows
version. Linux has one CD and UNIX has 6.

The PreProduction Wildfire 2 came on 2 CDs.

One possible answer is that the production probably has support for all the
languages, probably one whole CD whereas pre-production most likely did not. Just
    guessing.

Apparently you need to reinstall the license server, and PTC have told me
that my old license pack won't work. Did anyone else find this?

  14. Yes - I had to reinstall the license server also - but I think what
was more important was to install the software after the license
server update. I did it the other way around, and it was looking for
licenses that had their number changed - and would not startup
