Dimstyle problem!!

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by structuralsteel, Aug 13, 2004.

  1. I've got a dimstyle, I'll call it ABC-1, and the dimscale is set to 1.000. I've got another dimstyle, ABC-12, with the dimscale set to 12.000. If I set the current dimstyle to ABC-1 and draw a leader, for example, the text is coming out scaled up 12 times, and when I'm done with the command, the current dimstyle is ABC-12. The arrow sizes, though, are fine. Is there a variable that's overriding something? It's giving me fits.

Does it happen on all of your drawings?

Dimscale affects ONLY arrow and dimension text sizes, except you've got your style height set to something other than 0 (zero).

  4. It's not happening in all of my drawings. I'm using Autocad 2000i.

Thanks walt...you beat me to it. If this were the old west, there would be no more spectrefish, just legends....of how the great spectrefish was taken out by the quick draw walt....wait a minute
