Desktop in Vanilla

    Sorry, not making quick progress on the web and there's n other things to
    do. Figure the answer is in a FAQ somewhere. Hitting y'all up.

    Third party, offsite. Called me on the telephone. Got some drawings from a
    fourth party. They are from Desktop (unknown version)[I'm not sure it's
    Architectural. He mentioned a Civil Engineer and contour lines]. He's using
    AutoCAD vanilla, 2002. Not getting a lot of useful visuals (rectangles
    instead of (probably) lines).

    Is there anything we can do with this file to get him data he can see? Do we
    have to go back to the originator and get him to __________________?
    (originator refuses to care, sigh.)

    Poorly wrote, but I think get my drift. It IS an old quesiton.

    Get the object enablers from Autodesk.com , they are a free download.
